This 39,000 CFM general wood waste Donaldson RF primary collector and high efficiency New York Blower AF-40 fan were paid for by Emerald Public Utility District (EPUD) because Baxter Air was able to document that this approach was going to use only 52% as much power as an alternate proposal.  The alternate proposal used primary cyclones with medium efficiency fans, secondary collectors and undersized ductwork.

One year after startup, EPUD tested the system to confirm our documentation and the system passed with flying colors.  EPUD confirmed that the electrical savings of the first year probably covered the remaining cost of the system.  There's nothing better than a free dust collection system!  This customer has since installed a second EPUD subsidized system.
