Who says that baghouse technology cannot be improved?

Donaldson/Torit has not only improved its baghouse, it has actually improve its bolt! Effective immediately, all new orders for RF and HP Collectors will be shipped with new BoltsafeÔ hardware to secure the cages to the tubesheet.

A drawing of this hardware is shown below:

Donaldson has applied for a patent on the design of this bolt, which is custom manufactured to our specifications. There is no change to the design of the cage itself.

Boltsafe hardware provides excellent benefits that set the RF and HP apart from other baghouse collectors:

Threadless tip means threads cannot become filled with dust.

Prevents stripped threads & sheared off bolt heads. Bolts are easier to remove.

Retaining clip keeps bolt attached to the cage cover

Bolts cannot fall out of the cage cover and drop down into the collector.

Tapered tip centers bolt automatically.

Saves time. Reduces aggravation.

Secure connection between the cage and the tubesheet improves grounding.

Cage is firmly grounded to the tubesheet. This dissipates static charges and significantly reduces the chance of explosions caused by static buildup.

This enhancement to the RF and HP products will have no impact on these collector’s prices! The new cage assemblies have new part numbers, replacing the old cage assemblies, which have been discontinued. The new part numbers are listed below:
